Tractor-Trailer Driver / 1st Shift

(Full-time - 5 days/week)

We are seeking an experienced tractor-trailer driver to operate out of our Westwood MA facility.  Responsibilities include transporting and delivering products to customers by operating a conventional single-axel day tractor pulling trailers between 28' & 53'.  The ability to maintain a safe vehicle through compliance to Romanow Shipping Department policies and procedures and DOT rules and regulations is critical.  The ideal candidate will be organized, results oriented, customer focused, and will contribute to the overall team concept that our existing drivers have worked hard to develop.  

Requirements include:

  • 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience combined with a respectable driving record
  • Willingness to submit to random drug/alcohol testing as mandated by the DOT.
  • The ability to anticipate and adapt to unexpected situations such as traffic, weather conditions, long hours, etc.  

Assistant Machine Operator / 2nd Shift

(Full-Time - 5 days/week + overtime)


Join a dynamic team of production machine operators and assistants at Romanow Container.  We are currently looking for an Assistant Machine Operator for our 2nd shift operation at our Westwood MA facility. This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and the ideal candidate will be a quick learner with a good work ethic and a desire to learn manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery.  Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, but we will be willing to train the right individual.

Requirements include:

  • Must demonstrate a professional, friendly demeanor.
  • Good verbal skills, math skills, and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to read and understand work and safety related instructions.
  • Must be physically able to bend, lift, push, walk and stand throughout a work shift
This position pays from $20/hour and the hourly rate increases following the successful completion of a probationary period.


Customer Service Representative / 1st Shift
(Full Time - 5 days/week)

Join our team of inside customer service representatives.  This position is responsible for external communications with our customers as well as internal communications needed to ensure the proper handling and expediting of customer orders.  Attention to detail and follow up skills are required for this job as are good verbal skills and a friendly demeanor.  Experience is welcome, but we are willing to train the right person to work in our dynamic sales office environment.  

Requirements include:

  • Must demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Requires good verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be computer proficient.  Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, sales force, peer group, etc. through departmental meetings, phone, email, fax etc.
  • Interfacing daily with co-workers within Customer Service and other departments.
  • A willingness to take on special assignments as assigned.
